Alexa Bliss Thanks Nikki Cross After WWE Release

AAlexa Bliss has paid tribute to Nikki Cross following her former tag team partner's release from WWE on Friday, sharing an emotional message on Twitter.

Cross was released after a decade-long run with the company, ending a tenure that began in NXT and extended to the main roster across multiple character reinventions.

Bliss was quick to react, thanking Cross for memories that extended well beyond their time together in the ring.

"Bliss Cross forever. Thank you Nikki Cross for all of the amazing times, fun car rides, laughs and for being Hendrix's backstage bestie. Love you Nikki — can't wait to see what's next," Bliss wrote, referencing her daughter Hendrix by name.

Bliss and Cross were one of the more beloved women's tag teams of their era, capturing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice together. They first won the titles from The IIconics on Monday Night Raw in August 2019 before losing them to the Kabuki Warriors after a two-month reign. The duo reclaimed the championships at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020, adding a second reign to their shared history.

Bliss has been away from WWE television since giving birth to Hendrix. She holds multiple championship accolades during her career, including a Raw Women's Championship reign, and is recognized as the final holder of the WWE 24/7 Championship. Her tribute to Cross underlines the depth of the personal bond the two built during years of working alongside each other.
