One media member got more than they bargained for when they sat down to interview Luke Riley.
The Next Generation MMA fighter will be co-headlining this Saturday’s UFC London event at The O2.
Riley will be setting the stage for Lerone Murphy’s main event against Movsar Evloev, as he looks to follow up on his successful debut in the promotion last time out.
With fight week well underway, the 12-0 featherweight is completing his pre-bout media duties. And one recent interview proved that fellow Scouser Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett is never too far away.
Paddy Pimblett barges in on Luke Riley’s UFC London interview without clothes
Pimblett was in Riley’s corner at UFC Qatar last November, where the featherweight prospect brutally knocked out Bogdan Grad 30 seconds into round two.
The recent lightweight title challenger is tipping his training partner for big things and will be close by to watch his journey on MMA’s biggest stage unfold.
That includes at the upcoming event in England’s capital, where Pimblett is expected to once again be in Riley’s corner.
Ahead of the event ‘The Baddy’ appeared in Riley’s hotel room, much to the hilarious shock of reporter Adam Catterall.
Pimblett entered the room in just his underwear while talkSport presenter Catterall was midway through interviewing Riley for The Fight Disciples channel.
“I’m next door! … I can just hear Adam waffling pure pony,” Pimblett said when he was asked what he was doing while the rest of the room broke out in hysterics.
“I thought I had talkSPORT on, like, ‘The f—’s going on here?'”

Paddy Pimblett’s impact on Luke Riley’s MMA development
Riley sees Pimblett as a crucial part of his journey in the UFC, telling BBC Sport last year that the lightweight star continues to push him to be better in every training session.
“He’s been very important to me. He’s always had 100 percent belief and support in me, and pushed me on way more than he’s needed to do,” Riley said
“I’m in the gym with him every day. Just being on the mat with him every single day of the week has pushed me on.
“Mentally and emotionally we click, we’re very similar. He doesn’t need to help me with that because he’s seen the similarities.”
The featherweight prospect will hope that his work with ‘The Baddy’ pays dividends at UFC London against Michael Aswell.
